About RacingSchedule
RacingSchedule is an independent directory of running, trail, cycling, triathlon and obstacle races, from world marathon majors to the local 5K. Our aim is simple: every race worth knowing about, easy to find by place, sport and distance, and easy to put in your calendar.
We are not a race organizer and we do not sell entries. Every Register button takes you to the organizer's own registration page. We are not affiliated with any race, series or governing body unless a page says so.
Where the race data comes from
- Our own research. Major races around the world, checked against each race's official website.
- Race directors. Organizers list their races free through Add a race and keep them up to date with a private link.
- RunSignup. RacingSchedule works with RunSignup to list upcoming US races that use RunSignup for registration. Those listings link straight to the race's RunSignup page to register.
Race logos and photos
Race logos from RunSignup are shown only to identify each race on its own listing. Organizers can add or change their logo through their manage link. Other photos on the site are stock photography and do not show the race they appear next to.
Organizers can ask us to remove or change their race's logo or listing at any time: email hello@racingschedule.com and we act quickly.
Races change: dates move, events sell out, courses change. Always confirm the details with the organizer before you travel. If you spot a mistake, email hello@racingschedule.com and we will fix it.
Location data
ZIP code and postcode search uses postal code data from GeoNames, licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License. Postcode search currently covers the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, New Zealand and South Africa. Elsewhere, search by city name.
How we make money
Listing a race and using the site are free. Organizers can pay to make a race Featured, which pins it at the top of its local pages with a clear Featured label. Featured never changes the order of the regular, date-ordered listings.
